FoldingCoin (FLDC) — asset genesis

FoldingCoin (FLDC) rewards contributors to the Folding@home distributed-computing project with a Counterparty token, created by Robert Ross. This bare-multisig Counterparty issuance at block 309,199 is the asset's on-chain genesis; the project's public launch and distribution followed in September 2014, and FLDC later re-issued and migrated to OP_RETURN encoding. Counterparty payloads are obfuscated, so the contents are identified from the Counterparty protocol rather than read directly from the transaction.
